A thought on the views of radical feminism

Some extremists have claimed that the word 'history' should be altered to 'her-story' as history is not only made by men but also women together. I have doubts about it. The English word 'history' is originated from the French word 'histoire'. There is no sign of the French word - historie, meaning 'human history is made by men' or any men-originated elements. On the other hand, men and women have long been playing different roles in our society. The way of whether sexual gender has been being functionally applied in social roles rather is the fundamentally discussion topic.
